The Burial Mound spans two properties in Pawnee County, connected by county roads and miles of natural terrain. From open grassland and rolling hills to dense woods and creek draws — every acre is designed to challenge competitors in ways a flat range never could.

Courses traverse both properties with stages separated by miles of running, creating a competition environment that tests physical endurance as much as shooting precision.

Rifle Range

Steel and paper targets set across varied terrain at distances from close-range out to 600 yards. Engage from prone, barricade, rooftop, and improvised positions across the Oklahoma landscape.

Pistol Range

Dynamic pistol stages from 5 to 50 yards featuring barricades, ports, and non-standard shooting positions. Designed to force accurate fire under physical stress and time pressure.

Run N Gun Course

5K to 10K cross-country courses with integrated live-fire shooting stages. Carry your rifle, pistol, and ammunition across natural terrain while engaging steel and paper targets at every stage.

Night Operations

Weapon light and NVG-compatible stages for the Twilight Biathlon series — the original nighttime centerfire biathlon. Friday night vision divisions, Saturday white-light divisions.

Natural Terrain

Hills, draws, hay bales, structures, county roads, and dense woods. The rolling Oklahoma landscape provides natural elevation changes and cover that make every stage unique and every course unpredictable.

Obstacles

Cargo net climbs, walls, swings, barricades, rooftop positions, tunnels, balance beams, and rope-assisted embankment climbs. Physical obstacles are integrated into courses to test total athleticism.
