Zoom & Boom Youth Biathlon

.22LR rifle only, ages 8–17, on the same course and stage locations as the Twilight Biathlon that runs the same evening — different targets sized for .22s. Roughly 3 miles, 4 stages, 40–100yd rifle distances. Parents run with their kid but do not shoot or assist. Check-in 7:45–8:00 AM · safety brief 8:10 AM. Entry $50. The winter daytime individual Run N Gun returns to Pawnee County. Sat Jan 30, 2027, first release 8:00 AM. Two divisions: Average Joe/Jane (under 50) and Ol' Coots/Cooties (50 and older, as of event day). Entry $170. The event is sold out. Join the waitlist for an opening.

Check-In

Arrive early, sign waivers, confirm registration, pick up your bib number and t-shirt. Check-in typically opens at 7:00 AM.

Safety Brief

Mandatory safety briefing at 8:00 AM. Course overview, rules of engagement, stage descriptions, and emergency procedures.

Run & Shoot

Competitors released individually every 5 minutes. Run the course, engage targets at each shooting stage, and push through physical obstacles.

Awards & Community

Results posted, awards ceremony, sponsor prize drawings, and a meal included with entry. Share stories and connect with the community.
